Shir Chadash is a vibrant, diverse and participatory chavurah that combines the dynamism of Reform (liberal) Jewish commitment with the warmth and spirituality of our Traditional Jewish faith. Shir Chadash affords us the opportunity to worship through distinctive and inspirational music and active congregational participation promoting the search for and connection with The Divine.
Unaffiliated and observant Jews, interfaith families and spiritual seekers – all are made to feel comfortable, respected and religiously fulfilled in our community.
Our Kabbalat Erev Shabbat services are engaging, with moments of joyous participation as well as meditation and reflection. Music is at the heart of our services. It is where we build community and where you have an opportunity to develop relationships with other members of the Ottawa community. We welcome all newcomers.
